Webinar Overview
Introduction to Autodesk Navisworks – BIM Coordination & Clash Detection is an introductory webinar designed to help participants understand how Navisworks is used to combine, review, coordinate, and analyze multidisciplinary BIM models. The session will provide an overview of the Navisworks interface, model federation, navigation, model inspection, sectioning, measurement, and clash detection. Participants will also learn how architectural, structural, and MEP models can be brought together into a single coordinated environment to identify potential conflicts before construction. Through a practical demonstration, the webinar will showcase a typical BIM coordination workflow—from importing models and reviewing the federated model to detecting and analyzing clashes.
Key Points

  • Introduction to Autodesk Navisworks and its role in BIM
  • Navisworks Interface & Navigation – essential tools and model viewing
  • Federated BIM Models – combining Architecture, Structure, and MEP models
  • Model Inspection – Selection Tree, Properties, Hide/Show, Sectioning, and Measurement
  • BIM Coordination Workflow – from model integration to coordination
