Koenig Solutions delivers official JS Institute curriculum with Guaranteed-to-Run scheduling, though formal partnership status with JS Institute is not publicly listed. Training follows JS Institute's global standards for entry and associate-level certification preparation.
Koenig offers training for JS Institute's JSE-40-01 (Certified Entry-Level JavaScript Programmer), JSA-40-01 (Certified Associate JavaScript Programmer), WDE-40-01 (Certified Entry-Level Web Developer), and WDA-41-01 (Certified Associate Web Developer) certifications. Courses use official JS Institute courseware and align with exam objectives for both General-Purpose Programming and Web Development tracks.
JS Institute training is designed for aspiring web developers, software testers, and front-end engineers with little to no prior coding experience. The entry-level courses suit beginners, while associate-level tracks serve junior developers aiming to validate OOP, async programming, and web application skills. Koenig’s training supports all experience levels from novice to intermediate.
There are no formal prerequisites for any JS Institute certification. However, the JSE-40-01 is recommended before attempting the JSA-40-01, and foundational knowledge in HTML and CSS is advised for WDA-41-01. Koenig’s courses assume no prior JavaScript expertise and build from core syntax to advanced programming patterns.
JS Institute exams include single- and multiple-select questions: JSE has 30 questions in 40 minutes (70% pass), JSA and WDA have 40 questions in 60 minutes (70% and 75% pass respectively). Exam vouchers are not included in Koenig course fees; the JSE exam starts at $69, JSA at $295, and WDA at $195 via OpenEDG.
JS Institute courses at Koenig run for 32 hours, delivered via live online instructor-led, classroom, 1-on-1, or Flexi (self-paced) formats. All public batches are Guaranteed-to-Run, and private batches can be scheduled on-demand. Lab access is included for 30 days, with cloud-based sandbox environments.
JS Institute training at Koenig starts at USD 2,050 for public live online or classroom sessions, USD 2,700 for 1-on-1, and USD 199 for Flexi. Fees include official courseware, 30-day lab access, exam prep resources, and a certificate of completion. Exam vouchers are purchased separately.
JS Institute exam fees are $69 for JSE-40-01, $295 for JSA-40-01, and $195 for WDA-41-01. Retake bundles cost $86 (JSE), $345 (JSA), and $225 (WDA). Exams are delivered via TestNow™ or Pearson VUE, and vouchers must be purchased separately from training fees through the OpenEDG Voucher Store.
